Tony Gonçalves is the founder of The Evrose Group, a growth and transformation advisory firm connecting Portugal’s technology, media, and entertainment sectors with global opportunities. Recognized as a change agent, he’s known for scaling businesses, driving large-scale transformation, and delivering value across global corporations and venture-backed companies. Goncalves has held senior executive roles at WarnerMedia, AT&T, Otter Media, and DIRECTV. As Chief Revenue Officer of WarnerMedia, he led the launch of HBO Max, one of the world’s leading streaming platforms, and transformed the organization amid a global pandemic while growing a $20 billion revenue portfolio. At Otter Media, he oversaw ventures including Crunchyroll and Hello Sunshine into unicorns, underscoring his ability to build and transform businesses at scale. Through The Evrose Group, Gonçalves advises clients such as Grupo Impresa, Mediaprobe, and Arrow Global. He spearheaded Tribeca Festival Lisboa, serving as Executive Producer of the festival’s first European edition, and created The Heart & Hustle of Portugal, an English-language podcast produced with Portuguese news organization Expresso that showcases Portuguese culture through conversations with cultural icons and leaders. Beyond his advisory work, Gonçalves serves as board chair of Upwardly Global, a member of Portugal’s Conselho da Diáspora, a three-time honoree on Variety’s “500 Leaders & Icons” list, and an active mentor through The Unicorn Factory and Iona University.
